Student Travel Grants

We are pleased to announce the availability of ICS'02 student travel grants. The purpose of the grants is to make attending ICS'02 more affordable for all students. Grant details are given below: Students presenting papers at ICS'02 will be given priority in the selection process.

A grant is intended to partially cover the airfare, hotel, and registration expenses, up to a maximum of $600. Grant applicants must be full-time active students with valid student ID.

You must also register for ICS'02 - you can apply for a student travel grant before you register for the conference. Applicants must submit the application form below by May 20, 2002 at 11:59pm EDT. After this date, the applications will not be accepted for consideration.

Where possible, decisions will be made prior to the conference. If additional funding materializes, additional awards will be made on the last day of the symposium.

Grant checks will be provided to recipients at the close of the main symposium thread.

Grant recipients are still required to pay in full, at the student level, the symposium fee and applicable fees for any elected workshop/tutorial.

If you are submitting a workshop paper, please wait until the acceptance of the paper before filling out the student grant application. The order in which applications for grants are received does not affect the decision process.
