Final Competition

  • The final competition is a head-to-head Swiss-system tournament held within the Arena according to the Competition Rules.
  • Each team will participate in 3 matches. Failure to participate due to a damaged robot, late team members etc will result in a disqualification (note that this does not mean an automatic win for the opponent).
  • The mark received will be calculated by accumulating the following
    • 2% for a robot that is able to autonomously move out of the starting area
    • 3% for a robot that is able to correctly flip at least 1 puck
    • 3% for a robot that is able to sense and react intelligently to obstacles
    • 3% for each win during the competition (max 9%)
    • 3% for the robot(s) with the largest puck-difference over the entire competition rounds
    • 5% Quality of mechanical, electronic and software design (marks will be awarded for the practical and elegant design, and build quality)
    • 5% Innovation (marks will be awarded based on the novelty and creativeness of the robot)
  • Assessment will be finalized after the competition.
