you can send your first messages using the SPR platforms. Yang provided a short C-program that you can easily set up with the following steps:
  1. Next, check if you have the glib-2.0 library installed. If not, 'sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev' will do this on Ubuntu machines.
  2. Open a shell and compile the program with 'gcc `pkg-config --cflags glib-2.0` pklib.c packet_radio.c -lglib-2.0'.
  3. Attach two SPR demo boards via USB and check their IDs (ls /dev | grep radio).
  4. If the devices show up as radio102 and radio103, you can connect to them via the shell with './packet_radio -a 103 -d 102' and './packet_radio -a 102 -d 103'.
  5. Type a message and hit enter in one of the terminals - a notification of the received message should appear in the other terminal.
